Abstract : The following study is based on the Avifaunal diversity in the Hanumanahalli of the Gangavathi Taluk. The study is based on the monthly survey from June 2019 to June 2020 and data was collected for each species of the birds from the selected sample groups. This survey displays the 3325 bird population in the following study area of 50 families of birds from 19 orders. The study aims to study the population density of Avifaunal diversity in the Hanumanahalli Village through field survey and continuous observations commenced periodically for collecting the data. Abstract : Black rice is one type of rice that has high nutritional content and is beneficial for body health. However, black rice is still very rarely cultivated because of the many obstacles encountered in the field. Constraints in cultivation on land are caused by the weaknesses of black rice such as long plant age, low productivity, and high plant habitus. Those can be dealt with by modern plant breeding, one of which is mutation breeding by using gamma-ray radiation induction. Improvement of plant properties through gamma-ray irradiation with doses of 200 grays and 300 grays was carried out on black rice of the Cempo Ireng variety in previous studies. This research was conducted to test the yield of selected lines that were stable and uniform in previous studies. The research was carried out on Agricultural Land in Pakahan Village, Jogonalan Sub-district, Klaten Regency. The environmental design used was a single factor completely randomized block design (RCBD) consisting of 6 early maturity black rice lines and 3 comparison varieties with 4 repetitions. The data were analyzed by using variance based on the F test at a 5% level and continued with DMRT at 5% error level. The results show that the lines had better yields than the comparison varieties. The expected early maturity mutant lines of black rice that were irradiated by gamma rays had a shorter lifespan but higher productivity than those of controls..

Abstract : In recent decades, high strength concrete (HSC) has been widely used in concrete structures, especially in elements subject to severe compressive stress, such as centrally loaded columns. The present work aims to experimentally study the performance of (HSC) rectangular reinforced concrete (RC) columns with symmetrical and asymmetrical reinforcements under eccentric load, and compare them with similar cases of normal-strength concrete (NSC) columns. The main studied parameters are, compressive strength of concrete, distribution of longitudinal reinforcement and eccentricity of load. The effect of these parameters on the column ultimate load, mid-height displacement, and column cracking patterns are presented. All columns have the same longitudinal and transverse reinforcement ratios, as well as the same column section dimensions. According to the findings, increasing the concrete compressive strength resulted in significant gains in column load capacity with a reduction in the mid-height displacements at peak load. For column with high concrete strength and higher eccentricity, the failure load of the column, with asymmetrical reinforcement was appreciably raised compared with the case of symmetrical reinforcement. The increase in concrete strength caused the failure load of the column to grow more for columns with asymmetrical reinforcement and higher eccentricity..

Abstract : Top Lit-Up Draft (TLUD) gasification stove has a flame output at the top of the stove, the flame produced by this stove is held above the biomass at the point of mixing with secondary air. The stove design has an important role in improving its performance, there are also other components that are considered quite important, namely the addition of a chimney located at the top of the stove as a path for fire to escape. Although the design of the chimney plays an important role in the combustion that occurs in the TLUD gasification stove, there is still no systematic scientific study of the stove chimney design and its effect on the combustion of the TLUD stove. This study aims to determine the effect of chimney height on the performance of the Top-Lit Up Draft (TLUD) gasification stove. The chimney model with varying heights were 5 cm, 10 cm, and 15 cm, with an air flow velocity of 1.5 m/s. and biomass fuel: bagasse, as much as 600 grams. The dependent variables are fire height, flame temperature, flame duration, and stove thermal efficiency. This study concludes a.) the height of the chimney has an effect on the performance parameters of the resulting TLUD gasification stove, namely the flame height, flame temperature and flame duration [flame stability]. Abstract : The provision of inexpensive renewable power generation systems is a good alternative in supplying electricity in various regions. This study examines the financial feasibility of a design with variations in discharge and head for a micro hydropower plant (MHP) in an off-grid management area in villages in Jember Regency. The development of these 4 cases uses 2 MHP locations that are simulated with turbine variations, then their feasibility and sensitivity are analyzed to get the optimal design. By changing the turbine to be more efficient, the percentage increase in NPV and IRR in cases 1 and 2 is greater than in cases 3 and 4, with an increase in NPV of 15.18%, IRR by 8.12%. On the other hand, the percentage increase in BCR in cases 1 and 2 was slightly smaller than in cases 3 and 4 with a value of 4.32%. These results can be used as a reference in determining the location of the MHP and turbine type preferences..
