Abstract : The depletion of fossil fuel and rapid increased demand of fossil fuel motivates a number of researchers to work on the use of biodiesel on compression ignition engine. Because of the high lipid content algal oil appears to be very apt to biodiesel production in the near future. On the whole, B20MEOA+ A 3LPM blend with 5 hole nozzle shows better performance compared to diesel fuel. In this paper analysis the experiment work different nozzle holes are set to 3 holes nozzle, 4 holes nozzle and 5 holes nozzle and the 20% of biodiesel with 3LPM acetylene is used to obtain the performance and emission characteristics, the best nozzle is determined. The experiment work different parameters such as carbon monoxide, oxides of nitrogen, hydrocarbon, smoke density and brake thermal efficiency against the brake power of the engine are drawn and compared with the respective blends of B20MEOA+ A 3LPM and neat diesel fuel.
