Abstract : This study aims to determine to what extent the effect of the use of corn flour on the physical and organoleptic quality of pork meatballs. This research was conducted at the Animal Products Technology (ENT) laboratory, Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Sam Ratulangi University, Manado. This study used a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 (four) treatments and 5 (five) replications. As a treatment, corn flour is added at 0%, 10%, 20%, and 30%. The variables observed were pH value, water binding capacity, cooking losses, and texture. Observational data in this study were analyzed using Sidik Ragam Analysis (Ansira). To find out which treatment was statistically significantly different, it was continued with the Honest Significant Difference (BNJ) test. The results of the analysis of variance showed that pork meatballs with the addition of corn flour had a highly significant (P<0.01) effect on the pH value, water holding capacity, and cooking losses but had no significantly different effect (P>0.05). on texture. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion for all variables, it was concluded that the addition of corn flour to pork meatballs up to a level of 30% resulted in a pH value of 6.84, Water Binding Capacity (DMA) of 50.51, Cooking Shrinkage of 1.84 and a texture value of 4.25..

Abstract : Recently Nano-technology is considered to be used in many applications and it has received an increasing attention in building materials. More experimental studies are required for understanding the real behavior of modified concrete with Nano-graphene. In this paper, one hundred-eighty tested specimens with different Nano-graphene types and different ratios were tested to study the behaviour of modified concrete specimens containing Nano-particles at various water-cement ratios. The specimens' dimensions were 40 mm 40 mm 160 mm. eighteen tested specimens are control. In the first group, one hundred-eight tested specimens were prepared by adding Graf Pro nano graphene particles with ratios equal to 0.03%, 0.05%, 0.1%, 0.5%, 1% and 2.5% of cement. In the second group, fifty-four specimens were prepared by adding Graf Plus nano graphene particles with ratios equal to 0.25%, 0.50% and 1% of cement. In the third group, fifty-four were prepared by adding Graf Max nano graphene particles with ratios equal to 0.25%, 0.50% and 1% of cement. All these specimens at w/c=0.3,0.4 and 0.5. Comparison between the tested control specimens and results of tested specimens containing Nano-particles was done. The flexural and compression testing were recorded. The results showed that the use of Nano-particles enhances the microstructure of cement mortar by filling the harmful pores and dandifying the microstructure of cement mortar. Finally, the Nano-particles resulted in significant increase in the flexural and compressive strength of cement mortar..

Abstract : Egypt includes 227 cities, the percentage of informal urban areas that were developed by local communities without any previous planning, are estimated to be around 60% of the total Egyptian urban. Although, the undeniable contribution of such sector, confronting one of the major country problems, in providing housing for medium and low-income categories. The created urbanism has not been able to provide the minimum quality of life for such categories. The Egyptian housing officials and researchers has been striving for an approach that can contribute to the urban problems of such areas with the minimum governmental interventions and financial aids. Tactical urbanism is a global approach for developing urban areas. It depends on short-term interventions for long-term change, local and low-cost solutions as a community-based bottom-up development approach. The paper aims to develop a practical framework for activating tactical urbanism in the informal urban areas of Egypt. The framework aims to help urban planners, designers, local communities’ agents and local municipalities to improve the quality of life for residence of these areas. Refinements of the framework were done based on the findings of studying a number of international tactical urbanism projects. In order to retune the framework to suit the situation and context of the Egyptian urban areas a survey was conducted targeting Egyptian urban professionals and academics. Accordingly, the paper composed the final elements and indicators of the framework and their relative importance index (RII), thus innovating a model that can predict and introduce tactical urbanism to the informal urban areas of Egypt..

Abstract : In this paper, we consider the oscillation behavior of half linear Fractional neutral type difference equation with delay of the form and denotes the Riemann- Liouville fractional difference operator of order and are quotient of odd positive integers. By using the generalized Riccati transformation technique we obtain some oscillation criteria..

Abstract : The aim of the present study is to evaluate the ultraviolet (UV lamps, wavelength 365 nm, power 6 W) protective activity of Echinacea purpurea in mice skin model and compare its data with a commercial sunscreen agent. In these results, a phytopharmaceutical containing extract of Echinacea purpurea was investigated for its suggested immune stimulation potential. The photoprotective potential was evaluated by histopathological examination of the skin. Results showed that skin group irradiated with (UV lamps, wavelength 365 nm, power 6 W). showed highly a significant histopathological change, it showed skin necrosis and thickening of dermal collagen. The elevated serum pro-inflammatory cytokines, TNF-α, as well as PGE-2 were decreased in non or wounded mice with Echinacea purpurea and (UV lamps, wavelength 365 nm, power 6 W). The treatment with Echinacea purpurea protected skin tissues against UV damage by restoring histopathology changes..
